Celebrating my Father’s Garden on His 98th Birthday

It’s my father’s birthday. I commemorate the garden he grew in my childhood years. I question the photographs of my father in his garden of which I have no remembrance. I celebrate the strange, quixotic magic of memory. If my father were alive, he’d be 98 today.
