Apartment Complex, Somewhere on the Westside, 103rd Street, I Think, I Can’t Remember Exactly, All I Remember, They Were Playing Cards, and Then They Said Some Guy Cheated Them, but I Already Heard Them Earlier That Night Say, “I Feel Like Fucking Somebody Up,” and They Were Chasing Him through the Courtyard, the Six of Them, and He Fell, and They Were Kicking Him Hard with Them Construction Boots, and Then They Kicked Him in the Head, and Then They Kicked Him in the Face, Right in the Middle of the Face in the Nose, and I Was Running along with Them I Don’t Know Why, Just Because It Was Happening, but I Couldn’t Never Hurt Nobody, I Just Watched, and They Just Kicked Him Under Some Car in Front of Some Apartment in the Middle of the Night, and We Were Nothing but Goddam High School Kids, and They Kicked Him in the Face, and I Think, I Mean I Don’t Know, but I Think They Might Have Killed Him, Because They Kicked Him Hard with Those Boots Right in the Face, and I Didn’t Even Know Where We Were, Somebody Else, Some Friend of Somebody, Just Drove Here and I Was with My Boyfriend and His Brother in the Car, and I Think They Might Have Killed Him, and I Never Told Nobody That, That Was 18 Years Ago, Some Apartment Complex Somewhere on 103rd Street, I Don’t Even Know Where, I Don’t Even Know Where It Was
