Fireplace faced with coquina. Interior walls and ceilings virgin pine. From the porch in 1916, we children looked at sand dunes and cows and pigs where now are bars and surf shops. The posts of the porch are palm tree trunks. Sometimes at night, I thought the house had grown up from the dunes.
